Kagat Labi, Joey de Leon's latest album, found the veteran comedian once again squeezing his creative juices by jumbling words with melodies. Writing, specifically songwriting, ought to be a fun activity, according to Joey. But composing with ease is perhaps a testament of the ace comedian's natural talent in the medium. Prior to releasing the record, "Kagat Labi" was already a tune familiar to a lot of people, thanks to Eat Bulaga! where Joey shares hosting duties with longtime friends Tito and Vic Sotto.
