MOVIE - PERMANENT RESIDENCE (2009, DVD RIP)


At long last, done uploading this movie with a smile on my face. The movie didn't disappoint me, it was sensational. To those who were asking if the file has a proper subtitle, yes i included the proper english subtitle. Also included rapidshare links! Enjoy!


Ivan (Sean) has been searching an answer to a lifetime question: Where will we be after the present life? On the way, he went thru a difficult passion with Windson (Osman), a straight guy, made a longtime friendship with Josh (Jackie), a Palestinian, experienced the death of his beloved elderly, witness the wedding of his brother (Hong) and the birth of a nephew. Eventually he designed a permanent residence at his own soil to host all his love ones for the next life, in case there is any, while his friend Josh created a home at the Dead Sea for those not so much loved.
Permanent Residence explores, in complete abandon and full nudity, the life story of a young man who pursues an impossible love with his straight boyfriend and contemplates on the mortality of his loved ones. Permanent Residence exudes a deep understanding and sensibility towards the important issues involved in loving, living and dying

    thanks for the post. i think this would be a better film if nag focus na lang dun sa "hindi matanggap na pag-ibig ni ivan kay winsdon" - yung part ng ending medyo na off tingin ko. ang ganda sana kung nagsentro sya dun sa tanong na "ginawa ko naman ang lahat pero bat hindi ako matanggap...?" yes!!!!! hehehe

    This movie was very well acted... plot is kind of strange, kind of "out there", but that's typical of Chinese (especially Hong Kong) films.

    I find it strange that in the beginning and end, the voice over was done in Mandarin, but in the middle, it was in Cantonese. Wonder why?

    Final note: although this has improved greatly in its sub-genre, it still bears the mark of a Chinese movie in that when I finished watching it, I felt like killing myself. Hopeful endings seem alien to Chinese romance-dramas.

    I recommend this to anyone simply for the hotness of Sean Li!

    i am amazed and happy that pink films are getting better and better... the beginning and last part ugh not much of a thumbs up but the in between. the love, the we're an item and we have to break up moments... i usually go after the sexy scenes but this one got me watching every second.. i never even bothered going back to the sexy scenes because of the story flow... i love the lines so touching. one of the highlights for me was when the lover asked the lead why of all things that the lead has attained high standards and everything... he still chose a simple person... from there my heart started breaking in pieces... i got teary by the end... and i was clenching my chest.. hahah so dramatic... but love it... thank u for posting such movies!

    hi...it's my first time to watch a movie like this...sana ganito na lang din ang ginagawa sa mga pinoy bold movies, tignan nyo wlang sex scene halos puro nudity pero di malaswa ang movie...could somebody please give list of quality movies like this, may frontal pero maganda ang istorya at yummy ang mga artista
