  1. lumalaban si charice! para sa isang hindi itim, mahirap kantahin yun kasi para sa mga itim talaga yung timbre ng kanta na iyon - yung tipong soulful talaga! pero mas magandang pakinggan ang kay charice..

  2. charice has a better voice but unoriginal interpretation jennifer seems to do it effortlessly which made her performance seemingly emotionless.. mas taas jud tingog ni inday charice.. hehe

  3. jennifer's version is garbled. her version is so scattered, it goes out of style even. charice's voice is sweet and fierce! charice wins hands down.

  4. lets face it... charice tries to sing it like whitney does... but fact of the matter also is that she sings it wayway better than whitney does... jennifer on the other hand has her own style and her own capabilities... now putting the two against each other (in terms of the two performances), charice wins hands down when it comes to technique and quality, on emotion and soulfulness, jennifer edges her out... but that's only because whitney was there to help out...hahaha... get it? hehehe

  5. i think they're equally talented, charice got more on the vocals but i felt jennifer's version more, it was intense, passionate and was very sad, was about to cry, i think Jennifer wins on this one.

  6. they have their own styles.. and for jennifer she seems to be in a safe mode ayaw naman niyang ilamang c whitney sa powerful voice niya.. bka it might be shameful sa mukha ni whitney na nilamangan na cya sa boses ni jen.. and this a tribute to whitney ayaw niyang mag agaw eksena.. jenn's rendition is just a safe mode approach what if lang kung talagang mag extreme mode yang c jenn.. huh makita nyo ang powers ni ms. jennifer hudson..

  7. pinoys should really be proud of charice---she really did come a long way already---now she is not being pitted with her fellow pinay singers like regine et.al., but with an academy award winner and soulful performer jennifer hudson--- both have different styles in delivering and interpreting the song and it's practically rude to side with anyone----they both did a great job----bravo to the both of you----

  9. haler? kinompare nyo si charice kay jenifer, ok lng kayo?? pakinggan nyo yung part ng "and i" kahit effortless yun kay jen pero ang linis at smooth pakinggan at buo di trying hard ang labas...with all due respect kay charice, maganda yun rendition nya kasi may konting style and pabend bend ng notes, pero iha...madami ka pa kakaining bigas bago mo maachieve yun perfect and mature tones ni whitney like the way jen did sung her rendition in front of the original...

  10. uu nga, try nyo pagsabayin yung part ng "and i" ni charice and ni jen, sobrang nasal yun kay charice prang ngongo, samantalang kay jen alam mong galing yung boses sa kalagitnaan ng kaluluwa nya (very soulful kumbaga)...besides, umpisa pa lang, yun breathing ni charice ang pangit (it may sound stylish for some, pero ala-sharon cuneta tuloy ang dating at prang di bagay sa song na buo dapat ang timbre)..it wud take real musicians, note readers and voice experts to identify the complete difference and amateurism of charice, so yung iba jan kung hanggang biritan lng naapreciate nyo, hala magpakabingi kayo sa imperfect na pagsigawsigaw ni charice...

  12. I love charice but with this one i'll go to jennifer ... charice needs to work harder to make her voice whole specially songs like this... passion and emotion also plays a key in here though charice is still young so i do not expect much from her... Still i believe that the two will make whitney proud

  15. best rendition? that depends on what you're looking for. voicewise, charice gets the job done really swell. and she's just a kid. listening to jenn, however... i was not really 'impressed', but i 'felt' the song to the core. i got really moved i forgot it was hudson singing it... I was impressed with charice; i was moved by jenn. and sometimes you can't tell which one's better 'cause they both excel in different ways. you don't get the best of both worlds, after all...

  16. charice is very impressive. and she's just a kid. with jenn's rendition, however, i was moved, rather than impressed. honestly, though, you can't tell which one's better 'cause they both excel in different ways. sometimes you can't have the best of both worlds after all...

And about ke charice, ano ba namang mga negative reactions yan. Binibigyan na nga nya tayo ng international identity tapos ganyan pa. No wonder developing country pa rin ang Pinas dahil puro crab mentality pinapairal. Give constructive criticisms, and not sarcasm and hate...
